Hi!

My name's Matt and I finally broke down and bought a nice bike.
I've been riding this Walmart special someone gave me for free for years now. I must have logged hundreds of miles on it over the past 3 or 4 years, riding to and from work, school, and running errands.
The rims were bent, the crank bearings non-existent, and the front derailleur busted. Last Friday one of the pedals fell off on my way home from work.
So I decided that enough's enough and started looking for a replacement.
The local CL didn't yield anything useful. I ended up buying a new Trek 7.3 yesterday. LBS had it for $579, which seemed decent.
After being used to my old crappy ride for so long, this Trek rides like a dream! My commute went from 21.5 minutes to just under 17 minutes on the first day.
Anyhow, I like the bike and I like the forum.

Thanks guys. I've been enjoying riding the Trek these past couple of days.
I noticed today that my front wheel is slightly out of true. It wobbles a tiny bit. I have not been jumping curbs nor have I been doing anything else abusive - what gives?
95% of my riding is on roads. I bike through very short lengths of gravel, sand + some small rocks to get from a bike path to the road or vice versa.
What could have caused this and what can I do to prevent it?

Also, should I get this taken care of NOW or wait until the free 30 day service?
