Can you believe it??? Louis Garneau has finally ventured into the realm of legal time trial helmets (I saw it in my latest Excel Sports catalog I got in the mail today). This hasn't been touched since the days of Bell & Troxel...
Really, I can't believe it has taken this long for a time trial helmet to come back on the market. Just surfing the internet, you can find a lot of wanted adds for time trial helmets. When one pops up on Ebay, it goes like wild fire almost always around $200 or more.
Kudos to Louis Garneau! The "Prologue" only costs 99.95, and an additional 19.95 if you want the detachable visor. I wouldn't give it too many style points, but hopefully this will lead to a new generation of companies making legal time trial helmets. We can only hope...:D
Excel doesn't have anything up on the website about it, otherwise I'd post something. Sorry!
