Thanks to the referrals of some folks on here I got hooked up with Richard Lesnik at Rivendale Bikes in Walnut Creek. Guy is EXCELLENT. Identified that my prior wheel build was completely incomptent and "the guy should be in jail for even saying he knows how to build wheels. Terrible job." So he re-built my wheels with the same components except for new spokes. It has been rolling flawlessly true for hundreds and hundreds of miles. Huge departure for me because I am a really big guy (close to 300) and would routinely get my wheels out of true before. Thanks so much for the referral. Very happy customer.

Very cool! A good solid wheel build is critical for heavier riders. Lighter riders can get away with a bit more variation in tension. Sounds like you found a pro. Thanks for sharing.
