I would like to add braze-ons for shifters when I have my bike repainted this winter. My questions: (1) can Campy clamp-ons be converted to braze-ons? and (2) If not, does anyone have a line on some CHEAP braze-ons? Thanks.
My Capo has Campag. clamp-ons and my Bianchi has Campag. braze-ons. The levers themselves are interchangeable.

Records, with the ornate knurled outer edge. Some of the plainer, later models may indeed take a different diameter or width of mounting boss.
