A friend (BF Member) and I are trying to come to an agreement on the price of a 1985 Schwinn Super Sport frameset. We thought we'd turn to you good folks for the appraisal.

Thanks in advance,

Bob

Pics are of the complete bike, but we're only talking frame/fork/headset here (and maybe not the headset).

I really like the Tenax Schwinns from that era, and this is one of the best ones. And I really like the white color too.

All that being said, it is just a frameset, not a complete bike. So I would estimate in the $125 to $150 range. $150 is in the "got to have one, been looking for one for a while" price.

Complete, it would be about a $325 bike around here full market with all the nice 600 components. So if you pay $150 for it, you will need access to a nice group to complete it, otherwise a complete bike is a better option.

$75-100 max. Thats a Panasonic built frameset with 30.0mm JIS headset cups.

As a complete bike its worth $225-250.
