I have seen the Trek bikes under 3 different names. Are there any distinction to the 3? I understand some might be older model names sinc eI am looking at used bikes. Thanks.

im not sure about the multitrack 7200, but the differences from what i've seen in at least the newer 7200 and 7200fx is the 7200 is a bit more laid back, with a front shock. The 7200 fx is a bit more aggressive , and drops the front shock, both which give it more speed at possibly being worst on offroad trails (my 7200fx handles fine off road, but i dont really do anything extreme, just gravel and dirt paths, or riding in the grass)

The 7000 series is more of a comfort hybrid with front and seatpost suspensions, the 7000 series FX are the older models sporty hybrid, which is now called the FX 7.1,2,3 and so on.
