If you like supporting people as they TAKE ACTION to raise money for people in need, then I have just the person and cause for you. My friend Bill is getting ready to bike The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route from Canada to Mexico in support of the MIMA Foundation.

Basically, MIMA is a small, grassroots non-profit that is involved in a variety of humanitarian projects in both Africa and South America, often providing medical care to people who without MIMA would get NONE. That's where Bill fits in. He is a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who has worked extensively with MIMA's Surgical Program. Nearly annually he spends his own money and vacation time to volunteer for two weeks providing care. This year, like he did two years ago when he biked by road from Washington to Maine, he is taking MONTHS of his time and money to bike to raise money and awareness for MIMA.

So, if you have some money to donate and want it to go to a worthy cause and believe in supporting someone who working hard for their charity, check out this website http://www.bikeformima.org/ (http://www.bikeformima.org). Please consider donating, purchasing a t-shirt or simply offering some words of encouragement. All donations go directly to MIMA. None of your money goes to Bill to pay for the trip, he pays that out of his pocket.

So, give it some thought, click away, and follow Bill on his fundraising feat.
