Hi,
I have a very relaxing commute from Tottenham to Stratford, down the towpath along the River Lee navigation. http://www.lockviewholidays.org.uk/docs/map.pdf (http://www.lockviewholidays.org.uk/docs/map.pdf)
Where it crosses under Leabridge Road I can either: continue down to Old ford lock leaving the towpath to join the Greenway and cycle along the top of what was an old sewer outlet, and enjoy the marvellous view of the London 2010 Olympic site development http://www.theviewtube.co.uk/the-greenway. http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/East-London-circuit-Newham-Tower-Hamlets-Royal-Docks ; or as I more often do turn, left to cycle east along Leabridge road, left onto Orient Way and wind my way through Leyton and the quieter back roads to Stratford. This route avoids the busy Main road Stratford High Road from the Greenway to Stratford. I have been doing this for about 10 years and love it. Better than meditation. and that has very little to do with the route passing a lovely pub on the towpath http://www.flickr.com/photos/bunchandduke/2961615388/. honest.

My old trusty Peugeot is now due for an upgrade. I am fairly sure from the Carbolite 103 thread that I have a french or dutch P10s. I bought it second hand about 10 years ago. Bumps, bruises and small changes later, I really need a complete refit. Will also get a respray. Trouble is I could also just get a new bike. HMM really not sure. Can't afford both.
Reluctant to try a new frame when I have grown to fit my current frame so well. not feeling young enough to try anything new.
ahh well.

hi to all
