Hey guys I just linked up with a bunch of cyclists up at CK Sports up in Mckinney this morning and went on a really nice loop--there were 2 groups...1 group went 50 miles, the other went 20. I rode with the 20 mile group because I rode my bike there from my house 10 miles away to make for a 40 mile ride....We hit some nice little hills and overall the roads were very smooth and nice...held a great pace around 18-19mph....each goup had about 10-15 people...
Some of you Allen/Plano/Frisco locals get your butts out there! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
I was told they do Sunday rides too...figure I'd post this up because we don't have too many organized meets near Allen...this one should be close enough for most to cycle to instead of drive and you can break off the pack wherever because the loop heads down around Alma/Exchange/Mcdermott/Custer.

Yes saw those guys out this morning on my tandem. Had a chance to speak briefly during their ride.

u should come on out next saturday man! its the closest meet within biking distance from our neighborhoods!!
Sounds like a good group, but I'll probably stay with the PBA rides on Saturday mornings. I'm usually looking for more than 20-30mi on Saturday mornings.

there was a 50 mile group there as well.
i logged 40 miles including the ride there from my house-you live in the same area as i do so it would be the same.
yeah, the problem would be that last 10mi going mostly south into what's usually a headwind solo. Did enough of that on Sunday. If I'm going to be pushing into the wind, I'd rather there be a train behind me so at least someone's getting some benefit from my suffering.
