Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I passed my restricted bike test in 2008, i recently sent my licence to DVLA to have the restriction removed, but when it came back it now states i passed my test in 2010, is this normal? do i now count as part of the new driver act for another 2 years?

Assuming this is your motorbike licence? You had an A2 and now you have a full A licence? When I got mine changed the date changed to 2007 (passed test in 2005). I wouldn't worry about it and I'd actually be happy that you still have all your entitlement after sending it off to the DVLA!
You could head over to bikechatforums for a UK based motorbike forum.
p.s. regarding treating it as a new drivers acts, well, I'm unsure but I don't think so. Saying that, since your now allowed to ride more powerful bikes it could be a possibility.

Yes, the test passed date on your full licence is 2010. Prior to that you were on a restricted licence.
