Hi - any Aussies here remember oddball bikes - I have lived all over the world and only ever seen them in Australia
In the '70's we would get a typical dragster bike with 20" wheels , change the front fork and wheel usually to a 27 or 28" wheel.
Made it really easy to pop wheelies and ride for blocks like that.
My favorite oddball got stolen in High School it was a5 speed one.

Thats great! Maybe Ill kit out my old 185 Honda and sign up.
I just finished Boormans "Race to Dakar" and came away thinking that if you're a privateer then smaller seems to be the way to go.....Seems the dunes swallowed up the 650cc BMW's they used..

Yes we used to have Choppers which were branded 'odd ball' I guess, but I can also recall bikes being customised with cow horn handlebars and the like.

We used to put forks from a 10 speed on and use a little wheel, maybe a 16" if we had one or just use the 20"
