Does anybody know what the largest chainring a 2004 shimano 105 front derailler can handle. My current crank set up is 53-39.
CAn I go to a 54 or 55 or even 56(for downhill gearing)?
Shimano's webpage says 56T is the largest you can go with a difference of 15T meaning you would need to run a 41T inner ring.
