Hello all,

Found this interesting forum while searching info on my new old bike.

I commute by train and bike daily (excpet these past 2 weeks, because of baby expected next week-end at the latest), for about 11 or 18 miles a day on bike.
Most of it is in town (Geneva), on my faithful Gellano, an old steel french road bike. I stopped using the bar-end shifters and am stuck on 42x16 (a bit hilly over here).

The new bike is a swiss olympic, which will be changed into a singlespeed, as I'm fed up with having to change derailleurs on a regular basis: the train/bus transportation doesn't do them good

Sorry if my english is not that good, I'm more of a francophone (hence the name...)

Have a nice day.

ZF
