Hey all.

My wife has been getting more and more into cycling, and would like to join some kind of a club. I think she's especially keen on an all-women's club, and I'm sure that in a city the size of Toronto there must be at least one, but when I look online I see stuff in Oakville and Aurora.

Any pointers?

Though not women's only, both Darkhorse Flyers (http://www.hellovelo.ca/blog/2009-flyers/) and Lapdogs Cycling Club (http://www.lapdogs.ca/) have lots of female riders. If you look at race results, those two clubs make up like half of all the riders for a given women's category. Also, they both offer lots of rides for varying abilities, not just for racers.

Thanks a lot. Looks like she's going to sign up with Lapdogs - they do have women-only rides a couple of times a month or something like that. She's pretty stoked.
