Breaking Away. 1979
Beijing Bicycle. 2002. Chineese with subtitles
The Bicycle Thief. 1948 Black and White Italian Film with subtitles

These are the three bicycle movies that I have seen at least three times each. Normally I can't watch movies with sub titles but the two on my list are so good that it is not a problem to read along...actually Beijing Bicycle does not have much dialog but greatly composed music that fits the story. Is there any other great bicyle movies that you have seen?

American Flyers...

**Disclaimer** I've seen it but it certainly isn't "great" by any means.

Except for the scene in which former Baywatch babe (and real-life Ironman finisher) Alexandra Paul removes her top :D :D :D.

On the anime front, you have Nasu Summer in Andalusia about a rider in the Vuelta.

I really agree about Beijing Bicycle. It was a great movie- I enjoyed it more than most movies I've watched.
