Hello everyone new guy here. A little about myself, I wanted to get back in the saddle after gaining some weight through the years and purchased a pawn shop bike last year. It was a trek 820 old old model. Started slow just doing a couple laps round the block, did that for a couple of months then back in march I bought a 2010 trek 3900. By far the best bike I have ever owned, started slow again doing a couple of miles a day and now I'm up to 17 miles a ride and on Sundays (when I have more time) I have hit 30 miles. I feel like I can't go any faster on this bike and looking forward to purchase my first road bike. I know now I shouldn't have bought a montain bike for riding on pavement 90% of the time but ever since I have owned a bike it has been a montain, so i just felt comfortable in one. I never thought I would be so interested in riding further and faster, looking forward to the knowledge I can pick up here. I'll stop typing now don't want to put anyone to sleep. :)
