Mountain Biking - Devinci Guzzler

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I went to a bike shop today and am sold on the 04 Devinci Guzzler. its way above what Im riding now but the price is right, its got a Bomber fork( always wanted one) Fox rear shock, Attack shifters, Hayes hydros, deore stuff all over, werewolf tires, and lots of goodies that made me drool. I dont know a link to give but its made in Canada( another big plus) and it will make me a better rider. Im going to change the pedals to Atac's but other than that I'll leave it stock. I'll send pics when I bring my new addition to the family home. the cool thing about the shop I m getting it at is they laser fit it to me (adjust all things for the perfect fit) let me test it,then fit it again.then I get all this new fangled stuff tweaked to get the right ride, then they make sure Im clipping and unclipping correctly and adjust all the stuff that needs to be adjusted especially since Im new to clippless pedals. then I get the usual free tuneups plus they will make sure it still fits and make any changes needed to get the right ride. Im more stoked about the shop than the bike and Im very stoked about the bike and hope to be riding it before Ivan the terrible hits Va. the name of the shop is Cooblestone bikes in Chester Va.

Surprised you could find it. It isn't 'supposed' to be available in the states. And yes it is a canadian company based out of Quebec (I believe)
Awesome about the fit. Should feel great.
Enjoy the bike :D

I put a deposit on it today until the the rest of my stock buyout comes( any day now).Mael the reason the shop was able to get it was they pre-bought it before Devinci decided not to sell them in the US( some crap about being too much like another bike geometry or something like that, I dont think it was Devinci's idea) but many hard tails are available in the US and Im not sure what 05 brings but this bike rocks!!! cant wait to bring it home!!! patience is a bummer, especially if one has none. A2 its now Jeanne that did a number there. Id say come on up to get out of the rain but guess whos paying Va. a visit today. if it ever stops raining and you are in the area Ive got some trails to show you. BTW I got the pedals in advance as to be better on clipless and they are a blast now that I can stop, dismount and not fall down and the shop is Cobblestone not cooblestone(sorry)
