Yes on the cupholder. No on the plate. It is a custom euro plate. Real one on the rear. But no, not real paranoid on showing a plate though. What would you do with it?

interesting color but I like it. nice bike! very classy. what kind of tandem setup is that? I've never seen one like that before.

Ingenious set-up. There is a product called the iBert Safe-T-Seat (http://www.ibertinc.com/)that seats a child in a similar postition, but adds the protection of a molded shell in case of a spill:
