I am about to place my 2006 Dahon Piccolo for sale very soon. I bought it new & always stored it inside my residence, so it has no corrosion or major grime issues. It is in a new-like condition as you can see from the photos below. I will do a light tune-up before the sale. I will include some extra accessories with it like the instruction manuals & a couple of bags (one shown here). The saddle is a personal favorite well fitted one for me and will not be included in the sale-a different one that came originally with the bike will be substituted than the one shown below, although it is a still a sprung one. How much should I charge for it in US dollars (local pick up only)?

I would try for ~60-75% of new but be willing to go to 50% of new pricing. That is just my general observation of what bikes seem to go for these days for newer ones. If you put it on CL take some really clear pictures showing any nicks or scrapes (if there are any) and possibly link to a photo album.

I have seen them in the past go for $150-200.

Picollos are sought after due to their small folded package and light weight .....
300 dlr is not out of the question

$300 was what sprang into my mind as well.

Thank you all for your prompt and honest assessment of my selling price for the Piccolo. I will be taking it in for the light tune up just as soon as I can-perhaps next week I hope. Afterwards I feel it will be ready for a new owner. I will notify the Washington DC interested party of my bike.

Meanwhile, I want to also determine the best way of presenting the Piccolo for sale, and locating the right market for it to be noticed. I am going to contact my brother and my sister-in-law for the Ebay sale if I go that route. My sister-in-law makes a living selling things on Ebay. I think I will at least talk to her for that possibility after the bike gets it's tune-up.

I will let you know when I place the ad and how it goes.
