Saying hey from Columbia, SC. I'm brand new to the forums.

Currently on the hunt for my first road bike and am getting pretty heavy into bike repair and restoration. Since I'm on a budget, I'm starting off by salvaging cheap bikes from the dump and thrift stores and making them rideable for as cheap as possible.

Glad to be a part of the forums.

Hi - A nice looking classic went up recently on the Columbia Craigslist - looks like all campy 23 inch frame give or take.

Was it the Austro-Daimler frame? I think I saw that too.

I'm looking to put in some time at some LBS's around the city whenever I get a break from working all week to see what kind of used road bikes they have.

Yes it was - if the components were in good shape the price could justify them alone.
