My name is Rick and I am from Northern Indiana. I just recently got into biking when I received a great position at a nearby university and it became a shorter distance then all my other jobs. I started out buying an older schwinn MB for the commute to and from. After riding for a couple months I liked it so much that I was going to upgrade to a Trek, Giant, Speacialized, etc. but a random guy at a local store that I should try a Road Bike. To me a Road Bike was previously unthought of. I didnt need the speed I thought and it was more for the professionals who always rode in the streets. Well recently I picked up a older Road Bike and I love the thing. It is so different from the Mb's Iam used to. So long story short I am a Road Bike guy now apart from my MB I use to get around campus.
