Foo - Podium Girls!!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
They are sure pretty this year, wowsa!

You already know what I think :innocent:
I record the TDF and watch it after la familia goes to bed. I fast forward through commercials and the like and turn off the TV after the top GC contenders finish. FAIL?

They're always pretty.
I prefer the green jersey dresses, just my 2 cents

They are terribly ugly. My wife's complaint of the TdF.

I feel sorry for the girls that have to wear the polka dot umbrellas! The other outfits are cool or classy. Those poor polka dots girls! :(
Also check out their shoes - how weird are those???

I'm still trying to figure out the material used on those black one-piece numbers the stage winner girls wear. It almost looks like a thin neoprene.
And yeah...those polka dot umbrellas are funny...don't bend at the waist girls!

is it the same dresses after each stage? I've only seen one presentation so far (Chavanel's). I don't remember the polka-dots being quite like the pic above, more like a parasol than an actual rain umbrella...
The green jersey PGs wore like white sleeveless jumpsuits w/ a green belt.

This is another reason why non cyclists laugh at us.
Look at that picture, Benard Hinault and Eddy Merckx seem to be having a good laugh too, so it's cool! Let them laugh, they just don't know what it's all about.
I think th polkadots are hast in a Katie Perry kind of way.
Maybe I need some sleep
It's bad luck to put those dresses on indoors, yes? Oh for a strong gust of wind :innocent:

They're the fools! This is how pro (http://i.cdn.turner.com/sivault/multimedia/photo_gallery/0906/locker.room.celebrations/images/51526145.jpg)sports teams celebrate here when they win the championship.
Compare that to this (http://cyclingeurope.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/2008_tour_de_suisse_stage3_igor_anton_euskaltel_euskadi_podium_girls1.jpg), which was just for winning one stage!
I know which one I'd prefer.

Leave it to Versus to have an entire page devoted to the podium girls...here. (http://www.versus.com/cycling/pictures/tour-de-france-podium-girls/#/item/16/)
SFW - Just say "I'm checking out the winers of the stages".

If the podium girls have winers, something is seriously wrong.
Well...with the lycra, you could be talking about the riders...not that there's anything wrong with that.
