I was listening to the local news radio yesterday when (ABC national feed. ok?) the news reader informed me that "in L.A., a formerly white cop..." nevermind what the story was. WHAT COLOR IS THE COP NOW??

I was watching TV many moons ago during the elections and (hell I even forgot which President it was...) the news lady said "Okay now to update with the latest on the President's erection.". She froze up for a second then corrected herself.

Not long ago I listened to a sports talk show host talking about the different colleges he could've went to. Obviously he didn't went to one that demanded basic grammar ability from its journalism majors.

It annoys me when Dirt Rag sends out their e-newsletter and in the product review section they mention, "putting it through the ringer". What, do they fax it over the phone line?

The inappropriate wording takes all the meaning out of getting your "teat in a wringer", something that actually used to happen with old-fashioned manual washing machines.
