Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm 46 years old and just decided to get into biking. Is that too old? Anyway, I purchased a 91 Trek 1100 on craislist. It's a nice bike in really good condition. I'm sure I didn't get a great deal on it (paid $225) but it's got brand new tubes and tires so that's worth something.

I live in Concord, Mass. Anyone familiar with this area knows there are plenty of great routes around here. I'm looking forward to learning a lot on this forum and wanted to say hello.

Welcome old man to Bike Forums.
I started with a $15 Craiglist road bike at age 65 years.
Now put some miles on the bike.
