No... but I do plan on riding it later this afternoon if it's not raining too hard on me. First day in nearly a week that it won't be too hot, but the trade off is the rain.

All of my rides this week have been between 10pm - 11pm to beat the heat. My local fav is to sneak on to the local 18 hole country club and ride a couple times around the cart paths (very hilly here). On off nights, I do go into the garage and smile at my Rasta Bike and tell him he is a "Good Boy!"

No, since I am on business travel, but I plan to take a good long ride early tomorrow morning on the Bianchi.

No- but I think Boreas tried to hug me last night. I put my bikes up in the rafters of the shed but forgot to put Boreas up from Sundays ride till last night. Didn't forget but it has had a quick checkover and polish in the meantime.

Puttin it up in the rafters and I overbalanced and tripped over the tandem and the Big chain ring carressed my scalp.

I don't like getting that familiar with my bikes.

When my Ciocc is sitting in the hall, I squeeze the brake levers every time I walk by. Does that count?

I often ride recumbents. When I settle down into those plush, cushy seats it almost feels like my bike is hugging me!! :)

Yep, as I was loading one of my folders into my car. :)

I must have - my wife commented to me at dinner that both my T-shirt and shorts had imprints from the chainrings, I was lubing the speed plays and must have hugged to closely.

My bike resents that it is ridden by such a slacker. Maybe I'll list the arrogant little prig on Craigslist.

No. I did sit in the garage and stare at it for a while though.

Sounds like your bike is going through puberty. you know the attitude, the problem is never with the bike, the bike has to have all the latest stuff (because all the other bikes do) and they are tottally rebellious when you try to lead them in a particular direction.

Dear 50+,

I let a stranger sit in my bike today. My bike was not at all amused! :wtf:

I took it for a long ride right after.... just the two of us, but it seems so distant now.

How can I make things right?
