Road Cycling - Mix of road bike components - is this a combo a mess or not?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi, I'm new to road bikes, and I've been eyeing a Reynolds 853 framed bike on Ebay. It worries me slightly that it seems to have three generations of Shimano parts and two different wheel types. This is what it says:
"shimano 105 cranks and BB, dura-ace rear cassette, 105 front and rear derailler, shimano 600/ultegra headset, shifters and brake levers, chinelli (44) bars, syncros -5 stem, ultegra front wheel w/ mavic open pro rim, hugi rear wheel w/ mavis rim"
Should I be concerned that this might be a maintenance nightmare or do you think they will all work ok together? I really wanted Shimano 105 all round, but was tempted by the 853 frame and the possible good price. All thought welcome..
Shimano drivetrain so there should be no compatibility problem. Have no experience with Hugi hubs but hear very good things about them. I don't see any issues. I'm not a Shimano expert though. Obviously headset/bars/stem have no impact on drivetrain compatibility.
Am also starting a 853 project but am going Campy (Chorus/Centaur mix).

go for it. All it means is that your bikes got more character than the guy with the light speed and all dura ace

The parts mix isn't an issue, but there all sorts of 853 frames and they aren't all good.

It's a 1999 Jamis Eclipse. I keep hearing these are fairly good bikes.
