I recently bought some animals pedals, and I tried putting it on myself. It looks alright and it spins nice.

But from what I heard from people, that my cranks can strip??

I don't understand how and why? Can anyone explain?

Thanks1:lol:

From who?

They have the same threading as the crank.

Just a couple friends telling me that if I did it wrong. It may strip the cranks while riding. I just don't understand how.

Your friend probably threaded the right pedal on to the left crank or vice versa.

Is there a way to know I'm stripping it? Cause its my very first time doing this on my own.

I threaded the pedals in the correct side. lol.

If you threaded the pedals in the correct side, dont worry about it. Stripping only happens when you thread them wrong. Way to check? Take the pedals off and if silver strands of metal falls out, that could be a sign of stripping threads.
