I have upgraded my four wheel bike, tumtumcar to a hybrid, adding photovoltaic panels, battery and motor.

That is not really a "bicycle", is it? ;)

It originally came in with fully functional pedals and 7-speed rear derallieur, yes it is a bike with four wheels, but drives like a car.:)

Nice hybrid. Why is it called a tumtumcar?

Sorry, but "bicycle with four wheels" is a "contradictio in terminis" since "bi" means "two".
Furthermore the people on this forum will not agree that "hybrid" means "electric powered".
I'm sure there is a forum somewhere for electric-powered go-carts, but I'm afraid this forum is specificaly intended for "hybrid bicycles".

I would rather say it is an “oxymoron”

If we have no problem using modern words and phrases like “smart failure”, “cold sun”, or “dark light”, what could be wrong saying a 4-wheel bike?

There are more than a dozen manufacturers in the world, calling it a 4-wheel bike, quad and quadracycle, and, above all, "google" admits the term as an industry standard!
