At the moment I own a Giant Terrago 2 Disc (2008). I love the bike for what it is...However, I became interested in urban freeride type of riding, and my bike isn't really suited for that. What I'd like to know is, is there a possibility of swaping frames to get better geometry? Would that kind of customization even help?

Yes, just swap out the parts on you Terrago over to the STP frame, then ebay the old frame. The STP is more purpose built for your urban freeriding and will be able to stand up to the abuse. Do it!

I will swap the frames sooner or later. But first, i have to convince my dad why such swap is a good idea :S Do you happen to know...can you use the STP as a mountain bike as well? i want my bike to be useful for some more serius cycling (like uphill)... My Terrago is my only bike, so i have to make sure the swap is worth the money and effort, and that i will mot later regret my decision.
