Heras needs to drop the hammer seriously here. That final climb is 4.3km with an average gradient of %10... possibly a bit too short for him... but this gradient should be great to him too. It's probably one of his best chances to break a rolleur.

brent_dube is right: Heras needs to separate himself from the rest of the GC contenders today. That last climb is vertical, if he's in or near the lead at the foot of it, he should take ths stage.

It'll be interesting to see how Valverde can respond.

I just saw the stage results, and I think it is Valverde or Heras... Who will win the Seirra Nevada TT???

Yes, I don't think you can question that it will be either Valverde or Heras. I think Valverde is going to make an excellent showing in the TT (winning it, of course, is a definitely possibility).

I see the podium as this:

1) Valverde
2) Heras
3) Mancebo
