Hey everyone! I've been browsing these forums for about the last 6 months because anytime I Googled any question I had about bikes, it brought me here :P and there was always a plethora of advice and information. So, here I am - finally a registered member!

My real name is Brad, but I use the same username for every forum or board that requires a name.

I've been riding bikes since I was very young, but never used it as a method of commuting until about 3 months ago when my truck broke down and I found out it would cost about $1000 to fix (I had just bought the truck less than 6 months prior). I was so bummed out, and I have a lot of friends who are into biking. So, it has always appealed to me and it was almost like this was the event that gave me the push.

I never really had the money to invest into a decent setup, but it all worked out well. I'm from Dayton, OH (about an hour North of Cincy and an hour SW of Columbus). I work at Panera Bread and it's about 4.5 miles from my apartment.

I bought a Mercier Kilo TT and have been putting money into it piece by piece. I'm loving it (except the couple of days we've had recently in the mid 90's).

Anyways, good to be here. Look forward to more browsing.
