Bicycle Mechanics - Park Tools

After searching for a creaking noise on my bike during pedaling, I finally found the chain ring nuts loose. (dah) anyway I was able to tighten 3 of them but the other two just spun. So I went up to my Favorite Bicycle shop and bought the park tool wrench for the chain ring nuts. Sure is nice to have the proper tools. My Bike specific tool collection is starting to look pretty good. I am a tool junkie though.

I had a similar problem, I could not tighten one of my chainring bolts even using the park tool. I finally took the bike to the LBS and they had a better version of the tool, shaped like a screwdriver. With one person holding the tool firm, one holding the bike steady, and me tightening the chainring bolt, we got the job done!

Any links/leads to the screwdriver type tool? All my searches lead to the standard type...

Look for bolts with serrated bases, like the Campagnolo "pista" chainring bolts:

These will grip much better than standard bolts.

Campy used to have a patent on this, but IIRC it expired many years ago now.

Looked OK, but I stopped reading at bottle opener. Professional my ass. Drinking aside, you're not much of a mechanic if you can't get a cap off easily with pretty much anything else in that box.

Ice Toolz 27P1 looks like what you are describing but I'm not familiar with this particular brand.

The screwdriver tool is a waste of time, you get zero leverage out of a cylinrical handle. You need to get the T-handle Icetoolz one for maximum effectiveness.

Well in my case it apparently wasn't a waste of time. All the images of the icetoolz wrench I found were of the screwdriver type. I did find this:
