I can move one of the coils of my Atac Aliums front and back.

Does anyone know how I can tighten this up or fix this? Thanks!

Or maybe the question is

"Does anyone have loose coils in their Atac Aliums?"

and does that mean the coil is starting to go?

Email time and ask them about it. I had a problem and they shipped me a new pedal body for only $10.

Good idea.
So I did that and see what happens.

TimJ, thanks for the idea. I contacted Time and they are sending me a set of coils no charge. :thumb:

Bump... has anyone replaced a coil on an Atac Alium before?
Looks like something you pop out, but not sure...

Spring is broken, Wait for time's response or time to get something new.

Time was nice enough to send me a replacement coil. Just wondering if anyone can just point me in the right direction on how to change it.

Cool.

I would need to see a picture of the pedal, otherwise I would look for something the looks like a head of a screw or allen.

I'm with you on that. There does seem to be some kind of screw for each coil pin, but when I fit an allen key in it, it just turns and nothing unscrews.

This is the closest picture:

and I found these:

Are both ends fitted for an allen wrench? I've never had that problem when I had time pedals.

One end is the pin slightly sticks out through a hole in the structure, so that looks like the end that goes in first.

The other end of the coil pin is a hole which seems to accept some kind of key, but none of the allen keys I tried. One of the allen keys did fit, but turning it did nothing.
