I just tried out my new Nitto Bullhorns (b-021); first time ever using bull-horns. However, after riding around on the horns, I noticed there is considerable flex in the bars. It being my first time on bull-horns, I am kind of sketched out, as if the aluminum bars will strait up snap on me. Is this flex normal with these bars?
Although I have never ridden on RB021's, I have ridden on some extremely flexy aluminium bull horns. Right now, though, I'm using a T2 wing (31.8 mm clamp) and they do not flex at all. The lack of stiffness may simply be a result of the design of the bars. I have not, however, heard anything about RB021's snapping at all.

Actual bullhorns do flex; don't worry about it.

It depends on how heavy you are and how much toque you throw down.

Yeah, you are a bigger (and likely stronger) than average rider. Consider using Heat Treated aluminum bars like the Syntace Stratos.

worst case scenario though? Maybe bending, although I know aluminum doesnt like to bend? But defs no snappage?
