Nice trike. I just bought a Madsen-- not as glamorous, but it'll go faster.

Nice looking trike but it appears to be heavy. Madsen seems like a better buy for the bucket.

I just rode the madsen home- it's definitely not light-- but I bet it's a little lighter than the trikes in the article.

I'll throw a computer on it to keep track of mileage, but i'm interested to know what kind of speeds I'll be making dropping off the kids at day camp and such.

+1 I have a Cateye Enduro 8 on my Schwinn Town & Country. Not necessarily to track my speed, but to keep track of mileage for maintenance and to see how far I've gone/:thumb:

cool article. i made the mistake of reading the comments on it though and now i'm a bit depressed at how irresponsible it seems my cargo biking addiction is :-( ;-)

I didn't get past this one on the first page:

I couldn’t care less if people want to use rickshaws to schlep their groceries home. More power to them.
But I think parents who transport their children in these contraptions on New York City streets ought to be arrested for child endangerment.
