I'm thinking of getting Origin8 risers & pedals but am curious to find out how reliable their parts are.
Origin8 seems to be the better choice for my wallet just don't want total crap parts.

They are your economy line of parts. Best bang of the buck. Affordable while also being decent, durable, and reliable. Just don't expect many compliments from passing cyclists.

their Chainrings aren't round but not so bad that you can't tweak them into alignment

I use Origin8 aerobars. I tried quite a few: Profile Design, Vision, Teschner, I even had some custom ones made. But the Origin8 were really sturdy and *highly* adjustable...which is why I bought them. Heavy, though. They are quality budget products in my opinion.

The base bar is the EAI/Nitto RB021. Super strong and stiff.

Cheaper, quality parts that will last. Like others have said.

I have Origin8 risers on my Madison. I think they're great for the price. They're riser bars. No real need to spend an assload of money on them.

I don't dislike the Origin 8 parts I have I love the Bull bars and I can't say enough about the grips....everything I have seen with the Origin 8 brand is well made just not terribly precise

I also may buy Origin8 track pedals off of amazon for like $25.

I've seen those too, may just paint them white. Would the MKS pedals fit easily on a KILO?

Prepare to be let down. I know a few people who have painted pedals. It never ends well.

Iv run quite a few Origin8 parts with no disappointing. I will warn you though, I have seen some noticeably bent from the factory risers. I would say you wont be disappointed with the value.

If you check your local CL you could prob find some 2nd hand pedals that are of a higher quality for the same price that you don't have to replace in the future....

I bought my mks custom nuevo's with toshi doubles and mks cage for little over 100. But they will last forever and I really like em.
My theory. Save now. Buy good stuff, or stuff that you won't question buying In the future, and don't look back.

As for origin 8. They aren't bad for the buck. Look around you can get them for a hefty discount, like at citygrounds. I've worked with them.
They priced matched, very professional, and they really treat repeat customers well.

may I add a question though? What about the Origin8 Propulsion crank set vs. the Eighthinch crank set?
