I was crusin on Ebay for Crome bags, and came upon a Manhatten Portage bag. And i was wondering if any of you guy/gals have one. Are they just as good as Crome, maybe better? Do they hold up well? Lemme know!

thanks everyone

I was considering some ManhattAn portage bags before I ended up grabbing the timbuk2 hemlock. Price and no real need for a HUGE bag were the deciding factors.

Figured I'd bump this since I just got one. It is a large size. REALLY nicely built. I am impressed. I was just wondering since I am new to the messenger bag thing if not having a waist belt is an issue. Everything I have read says these bags are top notch, but I just wondered for whomever owns them, how high up are you wearing yours when they ride and do they slide around your back with no waist belt?

Yo I don't wear mine super high, prob mid-to-lower back and it slides a little bit when I first get on my bike but it's easily adjustable to a spot where it stays put for the rest of the ride.
