I am looking to purchase a new road bike and am pretty interested in a Colnago VIP2000. Is anyone out there familier with this bike? What other similar bikes can I consider?
Also, how does a Campagnolo Chorus groupset compare against a DuraAce groupset since both are similarly priced?
I am pretty new to road biking, having only ridden MTBs before. My current road bike is a Trek OCLV with Ultegra parts.
Would really appreciate it if somebody could offer me some advice.
Thanks :)

Sir,

The Colnago VIP 2000 uses the Columbus Altec Zonal tubeset. There are other manufacturers out there also using this tubeset. As far as the frame it is personal preference. I am not a Colnago and do not see the bikes as nothing special.

As far as Campy vs. Shimano. This is a question that cannot be answered. If you ask 10 people you will get many answers. It depends what you want. Both gruppos are excellent.
