Just because you own a Beachcruiser doesn't mean your a total dork biker. I have a Thousand dollars in my "Restorodbike" Cruiser. With precision Bottom Bracket Bearings, 185 Cro-Moly steel cranks and crazy chain, and Single speed 44-13 Gearing on track hubs, I stay up when I jump on the street and into a pelaton. Those "Dress ups " really don't like riding and getting trounced by a Beachcruiser. I love it. Mind you, my single speed with those gears can't make it up hills to well. I can crank it but I break chains. I'm also pulling giant tires, on a 70 year old bike, with a rolled steel Frame held together with brass braising/welding. I would rather ride this bike, with its slack geometry than my Cannondale road bike. Still I manage to get 50 to 100 miles a week on the Road bike. And about 150 on my Cruiser. There are many like me. I come across one or two crazy, innovative , creative Beach Cruiser riders a day. We deserve a Spot on your board. Thanks.:thumb:
