Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - BI nickle-plated lugged frame

Has anyone here built up this BI nickle-plated lugged frame....specifically in the 54, 56,58 size? What is the true stand-over height of each when 700cx25~28 tires are mounted? Is there much toe overlap? What is the quality of the plating like? Were the rear-end and fork-end width measurements true?

I'd like to build this up until I learn how to weld my own lugged frame one day when I retire. I'd like to add a bottle-cage boss on the seat-tube for longer rides. How is the ride for longer (50+miles, flat-easy hills) road rides? I'd like to mask-off the tubes and paint it leaving the lugs and ends exposed.

The actual standover height on my 58cm SE Premium Brew (same exact frame & fork) is 31.8" with 25c Panaracer Paselas. No toe overlap at all with size large MKS clips.

Thanks...so its more road-worthy comfy than pure track hyper vigilant riding, right? Just curious, how much does your set-up weigh? Gearing side, 2~3lbs diff on a sub-23lb bike doesn't matter much to my clydesdalian behemothness, but 2~3lbs over a 25+lb bike might be bronto bummer when I want to start climbing long hills with any semblence of sexy efficiency.

Or should I say aaaaaahfaaaaakit and go get a 58cm Wabi Special? Richard's store is only 2-hours away from me.

I have a se brew in 54. No overlap. Width measurements true. Good for long rides. Road geo.

Weight sub 20lb should be attainable.

My bike as it sits right now weighs 19.4 lbs and is comfy as all heck.

Wow...good info on as-tested weights if your components aren't made of super-exotic light-weight materials. So I can more or less count on sub-21lbs on a 58cm frame-set using med-grade competent components' ie. dropbar, f/r brake-set, stems, bottle cage(s), seat, clipless peds, ss/fg wheelset, puncture resistant training tires. Sounds good to me!

I'm going to guess my Soho S weighs 23~25lbs with its 44/17 gearing. The gearing works ok for me right now when I'm bonking or a slight hill presents itself or the headwinds blow or a combo thereof mocks my efforts....but might want to step up to slightly bigger inches, though, on my dream fixie as I become stronger riding in my aeroadynamic tuck ;)

Forgive me if this sounds elementary, but what's a prudent step-up after 44/17 on a drop-bar road geometry fixie that will work my slower spinning legs (50~80-ish rpms on the flats), but not destroy my 55 y.o. knees?

My bike is a bit under 19. The only thing I would call "light" on my bike is the aluminum syntace stratos bars. Components are just average: 300g seatpost, san marco concor, sugino xd crank (44/17), sun m13 wheels, panaracer pasela tg tires.

My Brooks adds some weight to my bike. Also, I lied (oops). Last time I weighed it, I had a front brake.

Front is back to a m13 and I did change the saddle position :D

I remember that bike now. That red looks great.

Stem is 50mm. I had a 60 nitto deluxe on previously but I traded my cousin for vanity reasons (gunmetal vs silver finish). Didn't think the 10mm would be a big deal. Visually it looks tiny in comparison. Since I wrapped my bars already it's going to stay for a while.
