Hi, this is my first post so please excuse me if this has been discussed.
I recently bought a 2009 Ridley Noah frame online. I'm an experienced bike mechanic/builder/rebuilder so I expected the assembly to go without issue. However I found that the internal cable stops on this frame a little perplexing. After a lot of experimenting I discovered that the shift cable ferrules would fit into the frame with a little persuasion, but I'm still stumped with the brake cable ferrules.
Are the brake cable ferrules meant to sit in the cable stops, or should I just use a bare cable against the stop?
Has anyone assembled a Ridley Noah, and if so I would appreciate any advice you can give.
Thanks, Derrick
