I have a typical riding history, perhaps. A lot in my teens, just for fun. I eventually had a nice Carlton road bike at that time. Then in my early 40's I bought a Raleigh road bike and discovered I had rubber legs very quickly. With perseverence I had a couple of good riding years again.
Now 54 and living on a new continent I recently bought a used Giant Cypress and am having a great time. This time around I took to the bike after 12 months in the gym getting generally fit and my experience is so much better :) Riding about 30 miles a week, not a lot but it makes me happy to be back on a bike.
I'm making changes to the Cypress to suit myself. Also have a few issues which I will enjoy researching here in the forum. I have already learned some new things and I'm sure I'll have lots of questions. Thanking everyone in anticipation of your replies.
