Mountain Biking - hey there

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey Dave,
I ride a Kona Hei Hei and an Alan cross bike. I like playing around the urban environment, but never really got into Trials...though it looks like alot of fun :D
What's the riding like in Norwich? Down here in Kent we're spolit enough to have a dedicated trail called Penshurst Offroad Racing Club Trail or PORC's for short.
Take it easy
Rich
I have a Gary Fisher MT Tam with XT derailleurs, STX RC shifters, Deore brakes and levers, WTB VelociRaptor tires, Truvativ 5d cranks, and a Manitou X-vert. I also have a Binachi Sport SX with 105.

Nice site....some pretty hot trials action...That one kid goes super big. who are these guys...iv'e never heard of them. There arn't too many trails only riders in Toronto but theres alot of guys into urban riding (more BMX style bikes eg:Planet earths 2-4's and so on) As for terrain Torontos rated pretty high.... but the capital of biking in Canada is B.C. for urban and Freeride. i'll e-mail you some pics of me and the boys doin some trialsin at our favourite spots.
Hi Guys,
I'm surprised to see Martyn Ashton riding for MBUK now...is Chris Akrigg still riding for Pace?
Here's a piccy of the old Pace Trials bike...some serious piece of kit!

Hi guys, just found this forum.
Trials is still a niche sport here in the US. I'd say that's it's definitely growing, but is not as popular as it is in Europe.
I'm the admin of Trials Online, and I'd guess that more than half of my regular visitors are from Europe. My site evn got a little sidebar in one of your big magazines. Around here though, the media doesn't seem to care at all, which is kind of dissapointing.

Sounds like a awsome job, do you ride trials yourself?.
Well running the site isn't really a job, more of a hobby. I started the site several years ago for fun, mainly to help people learn trials.
I do ride myself, but not as much as I'd like. My trials bike is currently in pieces waiting to be rebuilt as more of a multipurpose bike. I was going to sell it, but it's just too unique of a frame (only 3 made) so I decided to keep it.
Here's a pic of it in full trials mode:
