hello i am new to this forum site, but i have used forums before and this doesnt seem to different.

Ok so i recently busted up my bike a while ago, and i had another bike at home also, wrecked that one too. The thing is i think i ride them too hard, since i mean they are super old and not even meant to be doing the stuff i have been trying, been trying to do basic BMX tricks, but i do lots of jumps. SO what happened is i broke my chain, the wheels keep coming loose and it happens while riding, brakes lock up sometimes, and its just getting scary to ride them! i might fix one of my bikes, but i want to get a bike that is similar to the one i have had ( ok so im 15 now and the bike is like 11 years old! got it when i was like 4 and love the bike but its starting to cringe and stuff since its old, its a NEXt Whomp, if anybody cares l0l) so yeah, but i will like to build ground up, being new i turned here as to what i would need/ works.

I want a light weight bike, something fast (maybe not fast of the line but fast! i dont like the little stared bikes...) and that will be very very durable! And i sorta want to build it similar to my older bike, as in machanics i guess i would say?

So help You guys with my build?

No wonder, you had a Next bike that explains it all. Get something with full chromoly. Most bikes don't even weigh more than 30lbs anyways. Building a bike will cost you a fortune.

If you are looking for a good bike that will take abuse and last for a while you are going to want similar specs like this bike

A build normally costs around that much. Mine did. Well worth it in the end.

Which is better? To build a bike? or buy a ready made bike?

It all depends. If you are going to be committed I'd say build it, but in all honesty I'd probably buy a complete first then build it up if I was a beginner. Mainly so you know which parts suit your style more like frame geometry.
