Anybody familiar with the August 70.3 bike route?
I'm running the half-IM in September and since I live close (2-3 hours) decided to actually spend some time on the route before the actual event.
I've never been to Augusta before though. Just curious if anybody has any input on whether I have to worry about parking, are there parks/gas stations/convienance stores along the route to get water or do I need to bring it all myself etc. etc.

Thanks, but that doesn't really answer any of my questions.
Figured I'd provide info after my ride this weekend.
I parked here. There were tons of places to get water if you need to refill. I would recommend making sure that you are topped off before you turn onto Old Whiskey Rd S. There wasn't a place to get water until almost the end of the route.
There were several places where roads weren't marked that you needed to turn on to. With the exception of Old Whiskey Rd S though it always happened at a dead end so it was pretty clear you needed to turn. :)
In case anybody would find it useful. Here are directions with turn-to-turn mileage (from the last turn) that I used:
-- L Broad St note:turns into Sandbar Ferry Rd.
5 R Old Jackson Hwy
11 L S Carolina 5
-- L Atomic Road
.7 R Route 1
7 L Hwy 19
1.1 L Old Whiskey Rd S note: not well marked, watch mileage, it turns off at an angle
1.2 L Woodland
2 R Gray Mare Hollow note: almost a 180 degree turn
5.6 R Hwy 302
1 L Boyd Pond Rd
2.3 R Horse Creek Rd
2 L Herndon Dairy Rd
1.4 L Pine Log Rd
6.5 R Atomic Rd note: this stretch on Pine Log Rd. is super bumpy
4 L Beach Island Ave note: there are no left hand turn signs here, I turned anyway
-- R Sandbar Ferry
