My doctor made a very strong case for getting more exercise, so I hope to get back into bicycling. While going through the spare parts bin while building a bike, I found an old Brooks A77 Competition saddle. The thing is a hard as a rock. While installing on my bike, I couldn't find a wrench that fit the seat-clamp bolts until I remembered the Whitworth wrench set I bought to work on my British Seagull outboard. A wrench from this set fit perfectly. Both the seat and the clamp say “Made in England”. What is the best way to rejuvenate this seat, or would it be best to just by a new Brooks?

I used saddle soap to clean, and leather conditoner to rejuvinate an old wrights saddle I have, it looks just like a Brooks. Make sure the leather isn't cracked around the rivets, and if the rivets are in good shape, not rusted. I put on a layer of conditoner on the saddle and let it sit over night, I did this three nights in a row. Your results may vary.
