I probably should have introduced first :D

As I said in my first post, I've been here lurking for a while but decided to join to feel out some opinions on two Cervélo models I'm looking at.

I live in Jacksonville, FL, and currently have a Mercier road bike. I'm planning on upgrading soon, and hope to do some sprint triathlons next year. I ride about 6-7 miles/day during the week and take long trips out to the bike paths on the weekends.

I know that trail well...Usually there several times a week with either the wife, kids or riding partner ..Get there early enough and the sunrises can be beautiful ..

Yeah from 10 1/2 - 11 mile mark is pretty rank no matter the time of day but it gets worse with the heat..We usually ride on Saturdays starting at 5am or like tonight we rode after midnight...It's still a nose full...If you ride early morn you can gain several hundred calories in digested insects through there..lol..Congrats on the S2 Also !! If ya see some loon yelling "are you ijen0311" at every lady on a S2 that will be me.. :)

Thanks! That is a nasty 1/2 mile. One time I tasted it until I got home. YUCK. I plan on getting out there early Saturday, so feel free to yell :)

Hi ijen0311, sounds like you have some nice riding up there in Jax. Ya just have to watch out for some of the rif-raf like this CFXMarauder guy. The stories I could tell you about him...LOL Brent and his wife are realy great people. I've camped with and grilled out with them, good people!!! Too bad we haven't rode together yet. Some day I'm gonna get up that way.
