Greetings Melo,
My name is Lonnie and post as Treksta. I would like to congratulate you on being an amazing cyclist at 76. My grandmother is 80 and can hardly walk. Hearing about senior riders gives me hope to keep riding when I reach your age. I am only 30 and ride everyday, but I have not quite reached 300 miles a week. I am from the bike friendly city of Portland, Oregon, and enjoy the bike culture. This Sunday is Portland's first Carfree Day downtown.
Have a good weekend,
Lonnie
Welcome to the forums! I'm only 53. I belong to a local cycling club whose oldest member is an octegenarian. He rides 50 mile rides ar a four star pace without breaking a sweat, and if you dare call him old he will drop your a$$ in a heart beat and hand it back to you on a silver platter. He is still one of the more aggressive riders in the club. Glad to hear you are still with it. It will keep you young. Bravo and cheers for your efforts!
