The Sea Otter Classic starts today in Monterey, CA. I'll miss it because I'm going skiing. My girlfriend has told me that we can try to catch a glimpse of the stuff going on around Cannery Row before we leave this afternoon. I should have my fixed gear up and running today, so maybe I'll ride that down. Maybe I can even convince her to ride with me.

I was there for all four races - it was great!!

Hated the fact that Chris Horner got screwed at the end tho -

Man, he was pulling that breakaway for many laps, and then the whole field after they got caught. The rest of Prime Alliance really shoulda been there to help him out.

I feel sorry for the roadies today. Nothin' but rain, rain, and more rain! Oughtta make it nice and goopy for the mt bikers this weekend. :D

Canadians are doing really well in the Sea otter, both road and MTB. Way to go canada!

Needless to say, it's not on tv anywhere-after all who cares about a bunch of skinny guys in shaved legs and flaky 20somethings who say stuff like "awesome dude!" However, it's possible it'll show up on TSN or something in a few weeks- they've done that before. Better late than never!

One of these days I have to go there in person, it looks like a blast!
