Hello, my name is Lonnie and I am an everyday cyclist. I am happy to have discovered this forum and to share bike culture with other riders. I am from Portland, Oregon and grew up here in the North West. Cycling is an everyday part of my life, as a swore off cars long ago. I am going to be 30 yrs. old in November, but only look in my early to mid 20's. Currently I am pursuing a career as an Environmental Scientist. I believe that bicycles are a major part of solving the problems caused by dependance on automobiles and foreign oil. Lastly, I would like to say that the 76yr. old man who rides between 100-300 miles a week, deserves a gold medal for being a super cyclist. I hope to be in that good of shape when I am his age. Have a good weekend,
